Interview techniques that Ann-Marie and Sarah from Creative Awakenings facilitated recently was great and very engaging. They did role plays for 2 different types of interviews using Arts and Drama and got the participants to compare and discuss the differences with a Q and A session. It was great seeing all the women engaging when giving responses to what they observed as well as in the Q and A session at the end. I want to say thank you to you both. Your training programme has been a blessing. even though I still have some doubts about myself, I am looking forward to my next interview. I was a bit anxious in the beginning with the role play and games but I now understand their significance. During the entire training, I felt like you genuinely cared about my welfare as well as the others in the group. I was a bit surprised with myself today doing the final interview. At no point did I go blank. I felt more confident. In hindsight there's more I could have said and done but right now I am feeling proud of myself.

Hi Sarah and Ann-marie,

I just wanted to give you guys an update on whats going on with me.

The day after I finished your workshop I walked in to LCC (London College of Communication, part of the University of the Arts London) on their clearing day, and walked out with a place on the Journalism BA course. All based on my interview, no personal statement or reference needed. Crazy huh?! So the workshop for sure works!

I just wanted to say thank you for everything. The Creative Awakenings workshop really changed my life. It resurrected me from the dead and gave me my shine back. I remember the last day of the workshop vividly, I felt like Lucy again, and I hadn't felt like her in 2 years.
