Creative Awakenings believes that all adults, teenagers and children have the potential to improve their mental health and well being. We also understand the barriers to job seeking, employment and career prospects. Our online courses build confidence and self esteem using our unique Dramatherapy tool kit which also reduces anxiety.
Meet Our Team
Ann-marie Idiagbonya -
Co-Founder, Dramatherapist & Life Coach
Ann-marie received a post-graduate diploma in Drama and Movement Therapy at the Central School of Speech and Drama. ​Ann-marie was a professional actress who studied Drama at The Mountview Academy of Dramatic Arts, she worked in The West End, National Theatre and Broadway. She taught and directed through facilitating drama classes at Muswell Hill’s youth center for Haringey Council, where she devised and created original productions. Ann-marie also worked for Hillingdon Youth Theatre, Bright Sparks Theatre School and Bigfoot Theatre Company working dramatically through the curriculum within the key stages.
Ann-marie also completed Counselling Skill for Children in a school setting with Place2Be. She is a registered member of British Association of Dramatherapists (BADth) & the Health Care Professions Council. (HCPC) You can view my private practice here: Ann-marie Idiagbonya

Dramatherapists are both clinicians and artists who draw on their knowledge of theatre and therapy to use as a medium for psychological therapy.
Sarah Quist - Co-Founder,
Actress & Public Speaking Coach

Sarah Quist is a London born singer/songwriter, actress and public speaking coach. Sarah is the Founder of Quist Coaching a company that runs courses in public speaking.
​
She is currently working as a facilitator for The National Theatre and Phakama on their community projects and is a coach for TED TALK Speakers. She is TEFL qualified. Certificate in The science of Well Being (Yale) and Conflict Transformation (Emory University).

Sarah lived in Spain for many years whilst there she helped develop and run programs for all ages but mainly school aged children who were learning English as a second or third language. Before moving to Spain Sarah ran a successful drama club in Camden for children.

Sarah trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) and has worked at The National Theatre, RSC, The National Theatre of Scotland, Shakespeare Globe and Disney productions and many other companies.
